Plamed Kava Extract uses advanced green supercritical extraction technology. In this technology, CO2 is compressed into a liquid as an extraction solvent, replacing chemical solvents such as ethyl acetate and methanol. After extraction, we also have CO2 recovery technology, the residual amount of CO2 in the final product is lower than the CO2 content in the air.
Our extraction temperature is around 45℃, which is lower than the maximum ambient temperature; and preserves as much as possible the natural active ingredient of kava root: kavalactones, compared to the conventional extraction temperature of 80℃ to 90℃.
